COVID 19 Response

Colonial Folk Art, Inc., including Colonial Folk Art Studio and Gallery and Juxtaposition Gallery and Gifts, takes the safety of our staff and customers very seriously. In fact, we closed the studio and gallery for more than a month in the spring to meet health official guidelines.

To maintain the safety of all, we are following the guidance of public health officials, including a requirement to wear a mask (facial covering) in both the studio and gallery areas.

We ask that all customers maintain social distancing standards by staying at least 6-feet from staff and other customers when possible.

In the studio, we have limited the number of people per table and have seats spaced out. Additionally, the distance between tables and equipment is spread as much as possible.

We encourage all to wash their hands and use hand sanitizer  to kill any dangerious microorganisms, including COVID-19, and prevent transferring these organisms from one person to another.

Many of our customers, especially our open studio regulars, are like extended family to each other and the CFA staff. Although it is painful, we must ask all to refrain from hugging and maintain social distancing for the safety of all.

Considering the ages, health status and wellbeing of many of our customers and staff it is imperative for us to maintain these  restrictions. We will only relax our restrictions when public safety officials relax their recomendations.

Anyone not following our policy will be asked to leave the area for the safety of all. This is the prudent response to this pandemic and it is our policy.
